GREG’S Monday match was postponed so no damage done unless you were the poor pitch being battered by the conditions.
I’ve already warned about League Cup night and Greg’s advice is to back goals be it over 2.5, both to score or team goals as opposed to WDW. Shocks almost reached double figures in England in the last round but as I’ve said in Scotland the tournament is taken more seriously by the top teams.
Bury v Leicester
Greg says: The visitors have started the season well but this is a tricky trip. The Foxes have seen BTTS in their last nine matches and when you look at their League Cup record away from home it suggests goals will be on the cards.
Eleven of their last 12 matches saw over 2.5 goals and they play a Bury side who have witnesed 22 goals in their opening five matches.
The pleasing thing from a Bury point of view is they have scored two or more in four of their five matches this season but have conceded two or more in four of those.
I don’t see Bury’s gung-ho mentality changing especially given they’ll fancy their chances of causing an upset. Leon Clarke has been an useful addition and there should be goals at Gigg Lane.
Back over 2.5 match goals 4-5 (NAP)
