GOALS CHARTS: TOP OF THE POTS

WITH the recent addition of Desmond to the site we have a tipster who will only advise 2+ goals bets.

It’s a market I’ve dabbled in over the past couple of years but it’s mostly backing sides who are too short on the WDW market.

Desmond started well enough and his Tuesday double just fell short with Torquay scoring one. But as he double staked on Bromley his loss was just 0.17pts.

Looking about 2+ goals bets got me thinking who were teams that were most reliable. A couple of weeks ago someone asked if I was tipping overs at Bodo/Glimt and it was partly through that comment I checked their game at the weekend and picked them and of course they won 2-1.

There are other sides who stand out for goals and overs – the likes of Rangers and Dunfermline in Scotland and Colchester and Morecambe in England so that’s five teams straight away. And I’ve included Bromley who have now won their last three 7-3, 3-2 and 3-2 – in fact they’ve moved up a few places.

I’ve decided to put together a top 10 of “go to” teams for 2+ goals or over 2.5 goals and every time they play the chart will be adjusted – teams will fall places if they don’t bring up a goals bet and climb if they do.

I’d like people to nominate teams they believe are reliable for goals and we’ll have a list of clubs who could be new entrants. It could be a team from anywhere – I’ve focused mainly on Europe’s top leagues and Scottish and English leagues.

Every weekend I’ll advise some bets purely from looking at the top 10 – it will an interesting experiment to see if we can pick winners going by stats alone.

Also something to look at this weekend is the fact only four teams in the UK have seen all of their games bring up btts this season. Got a text from Greg Browning about this. They are Carlisle, Fulham, Leicester and St Johnstone.

Greg and others have also commented about Grasshoppers – if they do the business tonight they’ll be new entrants. Bayern Munich won 5-1 last night against Wolfsburg – with sub Robert Lewandowski hitting all five inside nine minutes – and could go to No.1 if Dortmund don’t give us goals tonight at Hoffenheim.
