I PUT up just one tip on Thursday and happily it was one winner – although both matches made me sweat. The 7-5 double was Monaco not to lose – and they came back from 2-0 down at Montpellier to win – and both to score at Huddersfield which landed with a late home equaliser.
As is usual at this time of the week I’m busy with my weekend columns and selections so I have limited time to look at Friday’s fixtures.
The one English game is the London derby between Fulham and QPR and three stats suggests goals. All Fulham games – barring the midweek Capital One Cup loss to Stoke – have featured both scoring while Rangers are joint highest scorers in the division and have conceded 13 in eight games too. Both to score pays 13-20 at McBookie and BetVictor and over 2.5 goals is 19-20 at Bet365.
The latter could be the better option with the last two meetings at Craven Cottage going over 4.5 goals – 3-2 and 6-0 Fulham.
In the Scottish Championship Falkirk face Queen of the South and again both to score could be the shout, this time at 3-4 with BetVictor and McBookie.
I don’t know how scarred Falkirk will be by their embarrassing 7-0 League Cup defeat to Ross County but Queens have a poor record at the Falkirk Stadium, drawing two and losing five of their last seven.
Before Tuesday five of Falkirk’s last six had saw both score but for Queens it’s two out of four. However, both have been on target in four of the last five meetings in Falkirk.
On the continent Valencia should beat Granada but are of course short at around 1-2 as are Porto at Moreirense while Cologne are slight favourites at home Bundesliga new boys Ingolstadt. A draw at Reims-Lille wouldn’t be a huge surprise – four of Lille’s last five have been stalemates.
Elsewhere we have the usual French and Dutch lower-league games where punters target goals and recently I’ve noticed plenty of overs in Bundesliga II as well as the Austrian top flight to hopefully we’ll some tips for those games.
Fans of Irish and Welsh matches usually put up comments so keep an eye on the thread for some top tips from the regulars.
I’ll look to put up some tips after writing my Saturday columns for the Daily Record.
